Background:
Helping design a set of business cards for an international tourist company, which has branches in Canada, Japan and China. They want a promotional material to introduce the company in Japanese and Chinese.
Concept
Ouka International group is one of the fastest growing tourist company, focuses on the foreign travellers in Japan. Their main services includes limo taxi service, car rental, high-end trip planning, medical tourism, kimono rental, etc. Their design requirement are luxurious and imagery.
Process
Setting
Since this work is going to be printed out in A4 size, it is important to get the right settings includes color mode, resolution, print guidelines etc. Also, retouching the photos in Photoshop was a big part of the preparation as well.
Design
In order to match their targeting market and brand image, I decided to use gold as primary color and black as the background. Also, to maximize the luxury feeling, I used golden brush stroke as a divider between texts and images. Furthermore, considering this is the pamphlet type publisher, users will look at two pages in same time, when I designed, I tried to keep the consistency in every two pages.
Deliver
Last, delivered the .ai file and the “high quality print” .pdf file to make sure files are ready to be print without any technical trouble.
