Process

Branding Design

Since the main idea of this App is to use the camera to scan the barcode and get information about the product scanned. I designed the logo with 3 main points: the camera shape, the barcode pattern, and the question mark represent a capital P of the brand. Furthermore, since our users are various, and may use our app just at the spot. I try to keep everything simple and quick, so I choose sans serif typography, and violet.

Persona & Task Model

After identifying the core concept of the app, we needed to figure out who will be our user persona and the task they needed to accomplish.

Wireframe

Shortly after identifying our user persona, we started drafting our wireframes. We created the wireframe with our user personas in mind.

Mock-up

Next, we created the mock-up using Adobe Illustrator and imported it to InVision. This served as our guide during the coding process of the app.
